Introduction
Yes, the GBA was designed well for holding. However, I find during intense GBA action, I can't always adjust my hands to press the right buttons. Sometimes I'll miss the left shoulder button and drive right into a puddle, errr.... Anyway, it just so happened that my brother bought me this GamePad product for Christmas. I was skeptical, but of course I gave it a try. Simply put, the GamePad transforms your GBA into a controller, so it is much easier to hold.

Design
The GamePad (also called the EZ-Grip) is well designed so that it is easy to hold. It has two finger rests on the bottom side of the Pad, which greatly increases the comfort while holding it. It comes in all same colours as the GBAs do, so you can match your GamePad to your GBA colour. There is, however, one design flaw. You cannot play with an AC adapter while you are using the GamePad. I have considered drilling a small hole in the front-side of the GamePad to allow my AC adapter to work. I believe this will work, however, it probably voids the warranty. The package claims it is durable and long lasting, but to me the plastic 'appears' cheap. I am not about to test this because I don't want to break it. Nevertheless, it does have a one-year warranty, so if the plastic is prone to breaking these guys will go bankrupt. Overall, very well designed.
Value
This product costs between 10-15$. To me I wouldn't really buy this unless you play intense GBA games, like Mario Kart or F-Zero. Also, it may be useful if you plan to hook up your GBA to the GameCube in the future. To me though, ten bucks seems a little steep for a piece of non-electrical hardware.
Satisfaction
I am very satisfied with this product, I just bought a FPS game (Ecks Vs. Sever) and I find it very helpful when trying to press the shoulder buttons and the select button. It is a little big to lug around all the time, but I certainly use it at my house a lot (which is why it is disappointing that it is not AC adapter compatible). I was very happy with the GamePad.
Overall
Might be worth a purchase for GameCubers or Racers. Great for intense gameplay; a little expensive for plastic.
