BAM! Entertainment has announced that it has obtained the rights to publish id Software's Wolfenstein 3D for the Game Boy Advance. Originally developed and released for the PC in 1992, Wolfenstein 3D has become one of the most critically acclaimed and widely recognized gaming franchises ever, including a 1995 induction into Computer Gaming World's Gaming Hall of Fame. Wolfenstein 3D for the Game Boy Advance is a joint development effort between id Software and Dallas-based studio Stalker Entertainment and will be available this April. Wolfenstein 3D is truly a classic and is widely recognized as the game that created the first-person shooter genre. In the year 1943, you are William J. (B.J.) Blazkowicz, the Allies' espionage specialist and a terminal action seeker. The mission: to infiltrate the Nazi fortress Castle Hollehammer and find the plans for Operation Eisenfaust. These blueprints are the Nazi's plan for building the perfect army. Rumour has it that deep within the castle, the evil Dr. Schabbs has perfected a technique for building a necromantic army from the bodies of the dead. As sick and twisted as this sounds, can you take a chance that it is just fantasy? Being an escaped prisoner in a Nazi war prison, you must move stealthily through a 3D world full of incredible detail and animation that goes beyond other 3D games. You'll run through a sensational and realistic 3-D environment, with intelligent moving guards and opponents.
